This was a giveaway at Free RPG Day in 2024.  You know I’m not a D&D guy.  But hey, I can raid anything and use it for another game, right?  This is even more true as I’ve been really enjoying Dungeon Crawl Classics and may soon try my hand at ShadlowDark.  Being a nautical adventure, I was especially interested, as I have for quite some time been hoping to run a sea-based campaign of something.

At only about fifteen pages, there’s not a ton here.  But that’s sort of the point of modules like this.  And it also serves as an ad of sorts for the larger book that I believe crowdfuned, but has not been released physically at time of writing.  You’ve got a four room dungeon with some keyed elements.  Simple, right?  There are also a couple monster stat blocks and magic items.  I especially like the magical tattoos.  I definitely hope to have some thief/rogue characters in DCC or Shadowdark, and the use of magic tattoos would mix so well with that.  I love the tattoo of a little blade that a character can activate to make it a real blade.  Great way to sneak a weapon into a guild hall, or prison cell, or whatever.

Meant for D&D 5e, Sink! Treasures of Deep Grotto would not take much to adapt it to whatever your favorite Fantasy game might be.  Man, I love Free RPG Day.  Getting psyched for June 2025.
